I'm a bit late getting my testimonial letter
in for my Kurakat kitty #2, but here it is. I can't even express
how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my sweet chocolate calico
named Calliecat. She is beautiful and rare CHOCOLATE calico, with huge ears
and big green eyes. Her personality is very
different from our first Kurakat, Kitty Boy, a pointed blue eyed male.
Kitty Boy is very sweet and loving, and has a
reserved demeanor. Calliecat is very busy and EXTREMELY vocal! I had several
Siamese many years before I had Devons,
and this little girl talks as much as a Siamese! When I call her, I can hear
her answering before she gets there. She
talks to any kind of bugs and birds outside the window. Her first night
at home was a real scare for me, being a very
experienced crazy cat lady. For the first twenty four hours,
she hid under a dresser in my bedroom refusing, food, water,
her litter box! I was so afraid that she hated her new home. After a reassuring conversation with Lisa to continue
to be patient
with her she ventured out to finally use her litter box and eat her Royal Canin kitten food. This timid
behavior lasted about
two days and then a very lively Calliecat emerged! She hasn't slowed down since! Kitty Boy spent
the first five days
watching and hissing from a distance. He is very curious about this new family member.
started with mutual ear washing and they have been inseparable since! I'm convinced Devons need
the company of another
Devon. One is NEVER enough! If you decide to purchase a Kurakat kitty from Robert and Lisa,
by all means, try to visit
the cattery for pick up. It is AMAZING!!! Super clean, NO cat odor.
LOVE Kurakats Cattery and Robert and Lisa! Virginia, Kitty Boy and Calliecat from South Carolina

Lisa and Robert,
We want to thank you
both for our newest Devon Rex kitten, Maia. She joins Leo and Ollie, whom we adopted
from KuraKats one year ago. All
of our beautiful kittens are doing well and enjoying their lives in Colorado,
where they adapted almost immediately to
their new environment and family. Maia is as sweet as can be, and
Leo & Ollie have grown to become best friends
and big boys. Our kittens have amazing personalities,
each one uniquely precious and preciously unique. They are playful
and cuddly, confident
yet reserved, and as precocious as they are adorable.
Our lives are enriched by the privilege
of sharing their unique spirits, and we feel truly blessed to have such amazing
creatures living among us. We look graciously
toward a lifetime of love and happiness with each and all of our kittens.
Thank you so much for being their parents and
caregivers from birth to adoption and for making the transition to our home so simple.
Our experience with you both and
with Kurakats has been one-of-a-kind.

Just wanted to update you on my precious babies....
Colby Jack (Jelly
Bean offspring) and CheezIt (Bunny offspring). The boys have had their 4th birthday,
and they are doing wonderfully!
They are in excellent health (although Colby Jack is packing on some extra pounds),
but most of all, they are still precious.
These are the best cats I have ever had....
And I've had a lot of cats over the past 35 years.
In fact, Colby is
my closest animal companion, and I will be sad once he goes on.
I will never own another type of cat, and I just wanted
you to know how pleased we were with both our cats.

Hi Lisa &
Hope this finds you well! Maisy is soon to be a year old and
I wanted to send you pictures
of what she looks like now. It is fun to look at the pictures you have
and compare what she looks like now and how her spots have changed so much.
She is truly beautiful and just
crazy sweet! She still squeaks when you pick her up
and/or touch her in any way. Her little noises
are so endearing. She loves to ride on your shoulder
nestled in your neck. She is very slight in size.
She is long,
skinny and very tall. She weighs 7 lb. She eats like a cow. She loves her Life’s
and is still extremely picky about which Fancy Feast flavor she will eat.
She still has litter box
issues - I have to have one for pee and one for poop -
as long as I have 2 and they are fastidiously clean, she is happy.
She has the life of Riley and is very spoiled, needless to say.
has made me so happy and I just wanted to let you know
because it is because of Kurakats and I thank you!
All the best!
Robert and Lisa,

I can hardly believe how
nothing short of amazing both of these kittens are. I have never met such well-adjusted kittens.

and it clearly shows in the

My seven year old daughter is in heaven. The kittens are never skittish and never
from being picked up...it's unbelievable! The more we handle them the happier they seem to be.
When they are awake they are alert, interactive, playful, and gentle.
When they sleep they
want to cuddle with each other or with us,
and most of the time both.
I would also like
to comment on how impressed I was with your cattery.
I was pleased to find your cattery so remarkably
clean and organized. I had no idea what to expect,
as I had never been to a cattery before.
I found your floor to ceiling walk in pens to be very spacious,
practically creating a cage free environment,
while allowing for the separation of litters.
I was also impressed with your screened in porch area as well as the fenced
in yard providing a safe fresh air environment.
Most importantly I am impressed and appreciate all the work you do socializing
all those kittens....
We are grateful to have found Kurakats !

Marie and Cleo and doing great!
It's been a month and we couldn't
be happier with our kitty's.
The whole Kurakats experience was
overall incredible. We had been looking
for Devon Rexes for a few weeks and finally found one with
close proximity to us. After talking to Rob on the phone, (he was ridiculously helpful)
drove to NC immediately and met our kitties. They bonded with us immediately
during the car ride home
falling asleep on both of our laps.
Cleo and Marie
have been a great addition to our family and with the training
they received at Kurakats they are perfect.
They are very friendly with people
and after showing them their litter box neither has had any "accidents".
Not even once.
We also took our kitties on vacation
over the Christmas holiday and they were marvelous on the plane ride.
Kurakats has also been very helpful when it comes to advice and any problems pertaining to our cats.

Hi Lisa & Rob,
Just wanted to check in with you guys and let you know that
Buzz & Tiffany got spayed
and neutered on Wednesday.
Buzz recovered in less than a day and Tiffany
seems to be back to her normal self today.
They did great!
I have attached the receipts from the vets here as documentation.
I also attached two pictures. Buzz is about 1.5 pounds heavier and twice the size of Tiffany!
They say hi!
Have a great weekend,
Wanted to share some photo’s of Skittles (Trui).
He is a year old now and we love him
dearly. We are so happy we got him from you all
and he is a part of the family now. We
can’t imagine our world without him in it.
As you can see he is very playful and can be sneaky at times.
If he is not in the room with us, then we know he is up to no good!!!
Makai bats at my arm so I move it and he can snuggle into his little spot.
I am seriously starting to wonder
if you sold me a human-dog-monkey rather than a cat.
I think he's gonna need a little brother or sister...
should probably add me to the list.
Love you Kurakats
My family is absolutely in love with our new Devon

Dear Lisa & Robert
Thank you all for everything you did to bring us these 2 adorable bundles of energy
We are visiting them constantly and alternating with access to rooms vs. our adult lady.
We will keep
swapping towels and scents for another few days before we attempt letting them see each other.
Wish us luck...
Both are eating, drinking and using the box quite normally
but I noticed a tiny snort here
and there. Is that normal for new scents and environment?
No sneezing or major issues, but just wondering if
that is typical for a new home.
thanks again - so far, so good...
will you leave the November posting link up on YouTube in the archives,
so we can share it with friends?
Thanks again, Melinda

Hello Robert and Lisa, Just wanted to update you on our visit
to the vet's today with the boys.
Our new vet, Dr. Jeannette was very impressed with the health, fitness
(physical and emotional) and temperament of both Bear and Gizmo.
She couldn't help but think that your cattery
does everything right!
As I write this note, the boys and tearing around the room having a great time. So,

It is in no way a reflection of the service/buying experience that you guys provided.
Lisa and Robert were both extremely helpful and welcoming
the selection process that brought Watson into our home.
Watson is the first pet I have
ever personally owned.
He is very attentive to the mood of his companions; he can be calm and lounging,
and riotous, but mostly an entertaining ball of love.
He often will follow my wife to bed, but soon he comes
wait in the living room for me to join her, and him, for bedtime. He is curious
and always wants to help us with our reading or working on our laptops.
The kids love Watson and he adores them.
We simply cannot fathom not having him in our family.
We look forward to watching Watson grow, and we wholeheartedly

Hi Lisa and Robert,
Simi is well arrived in Montreal !!!!!!!!

Here is like a loft, so Simi have slept with us and our baby ,
she always wanted to go to my face to lap it or in my neck to make me a soft
fur scarf, she's always purring and talk , trying to learn french very quickly because she's very speed!!!!!
A real clown!!!!!
We did'nt thought that she just take the plane, it was like we always been together!!!!!!!
She is just a treasure with beautiful blue eyes and a very soft fur and the best gift we

HIP HIP HIP HOURA KURAKATS!!!!!
Bravo for your good job and love: Lisa
Lisa and Robert -
We want you to know
that Gizmo and Bear are settling in to their new home very well! As you suggested, we did have them sit
on our laps for most of the car ride home (Bear on mine and Gizmo on either Kendra or Carson's), and I do agree that it helped
the bonding begin! We have so far limited them to 2 rooms in our house, and they have enjoyed exploring
their new home. They have quickly relaxed around us and have been both playful and cuddly - and purring
up a storm! Thank you for everything you've done previously to make them comfortable with human interaction!
Bear has already warmed up to the kids, and he is sleeping on Kendra's lap as I am typing this. I
think they are also really happy to have each other to play with. Bear is quite a jumper and pouncer, and
he likes to jump up onto things and then jump down onto Gizmo when he is not expecting it! izmo is quick to respond
and chase after Bear - they make great playmates!
Thank you again! We'll send you some photos as soon as they slow down long
enough for us to actually take a good one!
Picking up my sweet kitten
from KuraKats was a wonderful experience!!
I am so glad I got to visit and meet everyone.
Lisa and Robert are wonderful
and they REALLY know cats.
I've had Siamese cats for 30 plus years and thought I knew a lot,
but watching Robert
work with the kittens, trimming nails and showing me discipline techniques,
I realized what a talent he has.
is a real "cat whisperer!"
The cattery is super clean and very spacious.
The cats are all friendly and
the online pictures do not do justice to how beautiful they all are.
They have lots of screened porches to lounge on,
and a fenced courtyard for outside time.
Each cat has a cat tree in their living area and plenty of room to live in.
This is my first Devon Rex, and what really amazed me the most was that someone could have that many cats,
and cat beds and there is NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF CAT HAIR to be seen!!!!!
My kitten is a pointed male.
(Hahn) His new name is Kirlee Kitty Boy, and he is ADORABLE!!
He's super playful and so sweet, also VERY helpful with
anything that I am doing.
He has adjusted well to living with an 85 pound chocolate lab.
of his favorite pastimes is watching Kura Kats videos on the computer.
He always checks behind the monitor to see if
the other kitties are back there.
Soooo funny!Thank you KuraKats for my sweet boy!!!
I am looking forward to getting another one next summer.
Virginia, Whitmire SC
Lisa and Robert,
I wanted to give a big thanks for letting me visit so many times with Koba before he came home.
This helped us both. Koba is growing so fast and such a wise little fella.
He loves to cuddle when he is not busy playing.
He wins the hearts of all who meet him and don't be surprised to get calls from folks that want a kitten like Koba.
are taken by him for sure.

Tali is settling in just nicely! She's so
cuddly and friendly.
She slept with me in my bed last night and didn’t stop cuddling all night!
playful and VERY well socialized;
picking her up from the airport I was expecting her to be scared and stressed,
she was just curious and happy to see us.
I don't think she's stopped purring since I brought her home!
for a wonderful cat, hope you like the photos!
So I am in love!!! Maebe
and I have had a great start :). She is a real cuddler. The whole way home she sat curled up in my lap, purring and sleeping.
Today we explored the apartment and had fun relaxing! She actually burrows herself under the covers to sleep!! We made our
debut at pet smart today where everyone was fawning all over her :)). I put her in the outfit I bought and she actually tolerates
wearing it. It is just about the cutest thing I have seen. I hope jellybean is well...I will have to check the website to
see if the babies came! I have attached some pictures and will keep them coming in the future!

Hello, Robert and Lisa!!
I wanted to say hello and thank you for all the wonderful training
you gave me.
I am making my new Mum and Dad very, very happy.
I am always playful, cuddly, purr all the time,
use the litter box like you (and my real Mum) taught me how, and I am just a little ray of sunshine!!
I sometimes miss
my sis Tortie and the whole gang, but I love my new home, my new toys, the cat tower that Dad built and all the love and cuddles
I get...and I love the attention that all my parents' friends shower on me when they come to visit!! See you later! I'm off
Hi Robert and Lisa,
Here are some new pics of CheezIt and Colby Jack! As you can see, Colby is
really growing... I think he may be "taller" in the end than CheezIt. CheezIt has such a calm and sweet personality.
He's rarely vocal anymore. He and Colby have become wonderful playmates. Colby as absolutely the right choice. Colby still
has very little hair - and CheezIt is a big frizz ball. It turns out that my son likes Colby the best because he has such
big ears and little hair. I think CheezIt is gorgeous, personally. Colby is the clown and very vocal. He's always doing goofy
things. However, he did do one very dangerous thing. CheezIt is not very adventurous and has always been a bit "solid"
in girth. Colby is very skinny and found his way through a small opening in the baby gate to go upstairs. On Christmas Eve
- he fell about11 feet from a loft balcony. It was absolutely horrible - I watched it happen and couldn't catch him in time.
It knocked him out... we spent Christmas Even late night and early Christmas morning at the emergency vet. He didn't break
a bone and suffered from a pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). They kept him overnight just to make sure nothing else
was wrong and sent him home Christmas morning. Needless to say - once we figured out how he got up there, we remedied that
situation. Our older cats went up there all the time, but they were grown and not as naive. Anyway... he is well now. I was
really impressed with CheezIt through all of this. He seemed to know Colby didn't feel well after he got home - and CheezIt
just babied Colby. He groomed him and just wrapped his body around Colby. It was so sweet. Colby has still not learned how
to avoid stepping in his own poop - so sometimes we have quite the mess. Any pointers on that? Other than that - he is an
absolute delight. We love them dearly.... CheezIt loves the dogs and gets excited when they come in. Colby is not to sure
about them and when one gets too close, he spits - loudly!
But, he's not deterred by them, that's for sure.
Anyway - Cheezit is getting neutered at the end of January, so I'll email you a copy of that "proof". We are really
considering showing him- I guess in the housepet category - not sure. But, he's got a great temperament so I think he'll do

waited and waited thru several litters and finally there was little Thor.
We are all so happy and when Thor arrived home
to us he had obviously paid attention to his "Finishing School Classes"
I would refer anyone looking for a
wonderful Devon Rex to Kurakats!!!!
Hi Lisa, Robert and all near and dear to me!
This is Thor and I am writing from Grenada--actually Momser
Dee is typing because I still have great big feet and never take off my boots.
Just an update---I am very handsome (I am told) and my fur is so soft and curly and I am totally camo ticked
in color except for my racing stripes around my big eyes and lion like face.
tail is long and the very end is a black poof! Fun to wag.
around 8 pounds now (by guestimate) and still growing.
I can really
jump, love my bath time, brushing, and especially playing fetch and hide and seek.
I am very smart and try real hard to remember all of my safety words and do what I am susposed to.
Last weekend was just beautiful with calm seas so we all decided to go sailing for
about 3 hours to the next island. I was so good-- I loved it-- Of course while underway I was held in Momser or Dadsers arms-but
oh boy, the birdies, fishies, smells, waves--just everything was so exciting. When we arrived at the next island everyone
rushed to the sailboat to greet us and were so happy to meet me!
stayed for a long weekend on the sailboat then sailed back to our bay where our house is. Boy was I ever tired--that fresh
sea air--I slept a whole day!
I am very happy with my family and
want to thank-you for all you did for me. I guess it is picture time next week so I am certain some will be sent to you.
Love as Always,
Hi Lisa and Robert,
home last night at 11:30. Jynx did great! He did some exploring in the van, but mostly he 'cat' napped on everyone's laps.
When we got home, he ate and drank and used his litter box (Yay!) (he didn't eat or drink much on the trip). He played and
explored but would stop to rest and cuddle on my lap. He slept in his own room last night so that he would have easy access
to his food and litter. Once we got him settled in with blankets and heating pad, we were in
bed by 1 am. The kids are now playing with him in his room while we safety proof the banister and the house. He's so tiny,
I'm afraid we're going to lose him somewhere in the house! :-)Thanks
so much for doing what you do. It was nice to meet you both in person. We'll keep you posted
and send pictures soon!Have a wonderful day.
Robert and Lisa,
Just wanted to check in with you guys and give you an update on the boys! They are growing like weeds.
I dont know what they put in that cat food but.... Haha. The website is looking great Robert! I was glad to see Malachai and
Li mu bai all over the place. They seem to be very memorable to you guys. I can definitely see why! I've got a couple of great
boys. My favorite thing is when someone walks in my house and says "oh... You have cats. I'm not a cat fan." Gaurentee
they leave saying "I dont usually like cats...
But, yours. Are. AWESOME!"
Li mu bai is getting HUGE!
He is no small cat. He has a nice wavy coat. He also appears to be a smoke. When you pull his hair in the opposite direction
you can see that it is light underneath. He is still really vocal and a big cuddlebug. He's also turned into my flying kitty.
Any big gaps in the house; hes made it his obligation to clear them in a single bound. No surprise, he is named after a ninja
after all. Or so I assume... I never did ask you Rob. Nobody can remember his name so he's inherited nicknames such as 'Limu-kitty',
'Limu-guy', and even 'Lima bean.' He really is a handsome cat...and then there is my little "mutant" kitty Malachai.
Haha. No, he is a handsome boy but he still has that little pink belly and short nappy (for lack of better term... Its describes
it quite well though I must admit) hair everywhere else. He is a black point no doubt. He's still right full of personality.
Small in size but absolutely massive in his presence. he's smart. Maybe a little too smart... This morning I think he bit
my toe while I was in bed and ran and in turn set-up Li mu bai. Clever little gremlin I say. Haha. He's picked up the nickname
'Monster Guy.' It fits him quite well. Everyone is his play thing. He loves fetch too. Brings those mice he loved right to
ya and will play forever! He still sleeps right next to me every night. He's a big daddies boy. Both of them are really though.
They even ride with me in the truck. They never try to get out and ride really well. Truly unique cats. Well, I hope all is
well down your way! Enjoy the pictures and videos. All the best,
Joe and the boys
I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but honestly we can't pull ourselves away from him. He is a special kitty in
deed. We Love him so much thank you for giving me such an awesome kitty. I find my self needing to get another one very soon.
He plays with my Golden Retriever it's so funny I have to try and get that on video. And he loves his kitty tower and anything
that hangs. He's a bit of a fat boy now no problem stacking the pounds but he's so active he's back to form by the afternoon.
Visitors to my house are now greeted by an envoy of 1 Golden aka Baily and 1 Rex aKa Blu. They greet and escort everyone,
even walk them to the door for a goodbye. Still amazed at some of the places he sticks himself and boy is he a heavy sleeper.
I can't thank you enough Blu is awesome We love him.
I just wanted to say how sorry I was to here about Simba. I lost my heart kitty in May and still think about
him every day. I love your site, Robert. I didn't get my new kitty from Kurakats (you didn't have a male kitten when I was
looking), but I still look at your site everyday because it makes me smile
slept the whole way home and I have a picture of him in his new bed attached. He seems to like it! I have been a bit itchy
but hopefully that will subside. Nothing too drastic at this point. I am keeping my fingers crossed, Rexxie is such a cute
baby! He is also sleeping with me and pretty much joined at the hip (on my lap or me) during the day, so we are definitely
testing the itchy which seems to be minimal at this point with this much contact.
is doing great.
The small white poodle (Chyna) is scared of him but the black poodle(Buttons) is in love with Jaspurr
and follows him every where.
Chyna runs from him and sits in my lap shaking.
This only makes Jaspurr more interested in her:)Mia
my devon rex is warming up to him and is now very curious of him.
I'm sending you some pics.
Hi guysWe are sending out the neuter
and spayed papers from the vet today so we can get the registration paperwork from you guys.
The cats are doing great, everyone at the vet loves
They have a hard time letting them go back home, lol.
Anyway, all the cats are getting along great and
it's like they have know each other for years.
Thanks again for selling us these two beatiful cats.
PS : Thanks for the recommendation
on Life's Abundance,
the cats seem to love it!
